Whew...It's been a while since I've been on this blog or published anything. It's summer time, and life has been quite hectic for me with summer activities with my children and work, and just other things that demand my attention and time.
But since making excuses is one of my pet peeves (maybe because it's so easy for me to get into a habit of making them), I'll stop now.
But I have been still working on titles and getting covers for future titles. I also have ideas for a new series or brand of romantic short stories/novellas, but I'll hold off on that until I can get more of that underway.
I will admit or reveal something else about me as a writer and a person/individual in general. I have a tendency to have multiple projects in the work at the same time. Don't ask me why, but focusing can be tough for me, as my mind is usually wandering off in a hundred different directions. And unfortunately sometimes my body can follow down those paths. Which is why when cleaning at home, for example, I can be washing dishes, then start washing clothes, which leads to changing bed linens, etc., all at the same time. You get the drift. And this is what happens with my writing. I have lots of stories, many mostly fleshed out and many that I already have covers and titles for. And some of those even have the first few chapters already written. But of course, that doesn't allow me to be very productive if I have a lot of half finished books.
So, my challenge is to focus on one title at a time. Hopefully, I can fight my natural urge to jump from one thing to the next. We shall see.
But as of now, I have nearly finished writing Lovers' Rendezvous and will start next on A Love That's True and Lover's Paradise. But of course, you know, I already have a bit of all three titles already written. One day, I will become more disciplined, I promise.
Lovers' Rendezvous and Lover's Paradise are both summer time, vacation-based stories, kinda like Love's Call. Since it's summer, I'm feeling more in the mood to write summer time love stories, so bear with me.
So keep an eye out for all three titles which will be available soon on Amazon!
