So I am so very excited. Beyond excited. I recently submitted the manuscript for Love's Call to a print-on-demand service, making this my very first paperback available for purchase.
This is a huge milestone with me, and I just needed to share it. I've ordered my own copy and am waiting to receive it. Can't wait to touch it and see it in person and in real life. It seems that will make it seem that uch more real. For a newbie, self-published author like me, this is a huge, gigantic deal. And I hope to never forget this feeling. I'm so grateful that budding and aspiring authors now have a chance to experience and feel this feeling when they decide to go out and take their own destiny in their hands by self publishing. As opposed to being thrown in the slush pile of publishing houses, and never getting a chance to see their words in print. I'm blessed and grateful, and oh so very thankful that I found out about this wonderful thing called self-publishing. And I'm hoping to be able to get many more titles out in paperback format very soon. Thanks so much to the absolutely beautiful readers who have supported and encouraged me, and enjoyed my titles so far. You can't even imagine how much that means to me, and how it helps me get through the writing, even on those truly tough days, when getting the words out feels like pouring molasses. Anyway, just wanted to share that bit of news, and thanks again, so very much! ~Jala Summers~ Leave a Reply. |
